The portafilter is made with a premium wooden handle and rust-resistant premium 304 stainless steel. The bottomless handle is easy to clean and has no dead angles for cleaning. Basket is also included.
Why choose a bottomless portafilter?
The bottomless design allows for observation of the flow column, rate and espresso extraction colour, leading to far superior consistency.
A bottomless portafilter will also yield 50% more crema due to the lack of contact with any other surfaces, leaving your beautiful espresso bubbles in their original form all in tact. More crema = more taste.
What coffee machines will this work on?
This model is specifically for Sunbeam coffee machines, with a 2 ear 58mm group handle, including the EM6900, EM7000 and PU8000 models. If you're unsure of what model you need, send us a message with your coffee machine and we will happily confirm for you. A safe check is to check whether your existing portafilter has 2 or 3 ears. If it has 2, this is the right one for you.
